CBT 1 (2 days, 1 night)

day 1

Depart from Phuket’s Bang-Rong Pier by boat
เวลา 10.30 น.
Arrive in Ko Yao Noi and get a brief introduction to the island from your local guide
เวลา 11.00 น.
Arrive at homestay family’s house
เวลา 12.00 น.
Lunch with homestay family
เวลา 14.00 น. - 18.30 น.
Discover Ko Yao Noi’s unique attractions and activities by car
Explore the island’s 7 traditional villages
Learn about the creation of beautiful, brightly colored batik fabrics with a special demonstration from a local batik group
Visit a factory manufacturing coconut shell souvenirs
Enjoy delicious traditional sweets
Take a trip to a freshwater pond
See water buffalo, the animal that has traditionally helped Thai farmers to plow their fields
Test out your bargaining skills with a trip to the local market

Dinner with your homestay family

day 2
เวลา 07.00 น.
Breakfast
เวลา 08.00 น.
Travel by boat with your homestay family to see traditional-style fishermen at work.   Stop off at Thailand’s only lobster farm.
เวลา 10.00 น.
Enjoy snorkeling in the waters off Hong Island, where you can view beautiful coral reefs and feed a variety of fish.  You can also watch swallow’s nests being collected in island caves.  Considered edible delicacies in places like Taiwan and Hong Kong, these nests can sell for extremely high prices.

Lunch at Pug-Biea Island
เวลา 14.00 น.
Return to homestay family’s home for packing and farewells.

Depart from Ko Yao to Phuket’s Bang-Rong Pier

Note
Depending on the lunar cycle and tidal patterns, some programs may include collecting wing shells and a trip to Thailand’s only blue coral reef.



 

Price
For 2 persons, the fee for this program is 2000 Baht per person.  For groups of 3 or more, the fee is 1800 Baht per person.  This price includes all accommodation, food, guides, transportation around Ko Yao, national park entry fee, snorkeling gear, and a donation for a Ko Yao conservation fund.
