day 1
08.00 น. Depart from Phuket’s Bang-Rong Pier by boat
09.00 น. Visit the west side of Phang-nga Bay to observe the local eco-system, which includes Panak Island, limestone rock formations, and a variety of caves, including the Ice Cream Cave, the Kong-Kang Cave, and the Lagoon Cave.
11.00 น. Visit James Bond Island, made famous by the 1974 movie The Man With the Golden Gun, and enjoy souvenir shopping
12.00 น. Lunch on Pan Yee Island
14.00 น. Canoe through the caves and visit a mangrove swamp
15.30 น. Arrive at Ko Yao Noi
16.30 น. Meet homestay family
19.00 น. Dinner with your homestay family
day 2
07.00 น. Breakfast with homestay family

08.00 น. Travel by boat with your homestay family to see traditional-style fishermen at work. Stop off at Thailand’s first lobster farm, a black king fish farm, a sea bass farm, and a tiger shark farm
10.00 น. Enjoy snorkeling in the waters off the Hong Islands, where you can see beautiful coral reefs. You can also watch swallow’s nests being collected in island caves. Considered edible delicacies in places like Taiwan and Hong Kong, these nests can sell for extremely high prices.
12.00 น. Lunch on La-Deng island
14.00 น. Return to homestay family’s house
15.00 น. Discover Ko Yao Noi’s unique attractions and activities by car
● Explore the island’s 7 traditional villages
● Learn about the creation of beautiful, brightly colored batik fabrics with a special demonstration from a local
batik group
● Visit a factory manufacturing coconut shell souvenirs
● Enjoy delicious traditional sweets
● Take a trip to a freshwater pond
● See water buffalo, the animal that has traditionally helped Thai farmers to plow their fields
● Test out your bargaining skills with a trip to the local market
19.30 น. Dinner party for all homestay program participants

08.00 น. Breakfast with homestay family
09.30 น. Departure from Ko Yao for Phuket’s Bang-Rong Pier by boat
Price
For groups of more than 4 people, the program’s fee is 3,000 Baht per person - this price includes accommodation, food, transportation, and activity fees, along with a donation for a Ko Yao conservation fund.
Note
Depending on the lunar cycle and tidal patterns, some programs may include collecting wing shells and a trip to Thailand’s only blue coral reef.
